I have only been dealing with them a short while but have had no problems, though i find most companies are great until something goes wrong and then you see their true colours.

I’ve heard this before that some car companies won’t accept Debt cards.

It’s pretty silly that if you pre-book you’re not told, and if you’re not – why didn’t they make an exception?

I’m sorry to hear you had a bad time. I read this entry because I use GoDaddy for my domains and web site. It isn’t difficult to turn off the automatic renewal, and it’s a courtesy that they notify a person well in advance so one can make that decision. I’ve had much worse experience elsewhere; so I appreciate them and have had nothing but success with their customer support. But then, I never do the bank draft thing with anybody because that is always a nightmare. Despite my positive feelings about GoDaddy, I’m really sorry you had such a lousy experience.

Congratulations! I forwarded a link to this post to my son, who appreciates the game even more than I do (and my husband and I definitely do appreciate the game). My son even uses it as part of his homeschooling to teach his girls logic. He played me a game of blind chess during his last visit. I have a photo on my wordpress blog of some nice 4-inch realistic-looking hand-painted ceramic chess pieces (No, I’m not selling them, I just thought you might like to see some nice pieces is all.) Anyway, as one author (children’s novel so far) to another, I wanted to say Congrats!
